Vittorio e Alessandro Ferracini
Started to play basketball for the team of DON BOSCO Pordenone (his family residence).
He made his A Serie debut at the age of sixteen in the “legendary red shoes” of Olimpia Milano.
He has made 500 appearances at the top Italian League ( Serie A) and over 120 with the Italian National Team.
He played as a pro for Olimpia Milano, Virtus Bologna, Benetton Treviso and Fortitudo Bologna.
With Olimpa Milano, of which he was the captain, he won an Italian Championship and a Korac Cup, and again as captain, helped Benetton Treviso to achieve promotion to the top Italian League.
He played 10 years for the Italian National Team participating to five European Championships and one WORLD Championship.
He was one of the founders of GIBA (Italian basketball players association) and was a member of GIBA board and the president of GIBA Fund for many years.
He has been living in Bologna, the Italian “basket City”, since the latter part of his playing career where he later opened his agency in 1991. Since then “Toio” has accompanied the boys who trusted him by offering his knowledge and experience for their service in addition to being a careful advisor on and off the court by following them step by step in their professional growth with utmost professionalism.
Professionalism and seriousness are the hallmarks of his long agent career, during which he has negotiated several important contracts as representative of both National and International highest level players.
Alessandro Ferracini was born in Milan in 1981 and is currently the head of T&T’s scouting office and a recognized Fip and Fiba agent.
Trained basketball in the youth of Virtus Bologna coached by Marco “Murphy” Sanguettoli and later graduated from the Alma Mater Studiorum of Bologna at the Faculty of Economics, he had the opportunity to specialize by attending the University Master in Strategies for the Business of Sport (SBS) organized by Verde Sport (Benetton Group) and Ca’ Foscari University of Venice –
Alessandro then worked in the marketing offices of Reyer Venezia Pallacanestro and then continued his education overseas, working in Los Angeles as a contact person for the European market for the prestigious Wasserman Media Group –
Returning to Italy in 2018 along with Stefano Pillastrini, he organized and founded the Pro Basketball Academy to allow young up-and-coming players to deal with professional work rhythms during the off-season, and in 2020 he founded “Confidence Basketball” the brand of T&T with which he relaunched the club nationally and internationally.
